Twisted Pair (TP) is the most commonly used transmission medium in comprehensive cabling projects, consisting of two insulated copper conductors. By twisting two insulated copper conductors together at a certain density, the electromagnetic waves radiated by each conductor during transmission will be canceled out by the waves emitted by the other conductor, effectively reducing the degree of signal interference.
Generally used for short-distance communication in cabinets, indoors or between short-distance floors.
